When and where is the wedding?
We can't wait to celebrate with you! Our ceremony takes place on June 5th, 2025 at 3pm at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park in San Diego, California. Dinner to follow at Jasmine Seafood Cafe on Convoy Street in San Diego, California. Our ceremony will be outside with dinner indoors.
What time should I arrive?
Our ceremony starts promptly at 3pm with guest entry beginning at 2:30pm. We recommend arriving between 2:30-2:45pm to grab a seat and get ready to celebrate with us!
What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
We'd love our guests to dress in their Sunday best attire. Think dresses, skirts, or jumpsuits. Or dress slacks or chinos with a button-down shirt; blazers and ties are optional. But please do not wear jeans, sneakers, or white.
When should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by May 1st! You can do so through our website!
Is there parking at the venue?
There is parking at the venue, however parking is extremely limited! We strongly encourage using a ride-share service like Uber or Lyft or carpooling! If you'd like to park at the venue, let us know and we can provide a parking permit.
What is the best way to get to the Japanese Friendship Garden?
Our ceremony venue is located within Balboa Park, however you'll want to enter through the wedding guest entrance located at the Lower Garden back gate. Please use this address: 2220 Paseo De Oro, San Diego, California 92101.
Where should out-of-town guests stay?
We highly recommend booking through Airbnb or VRBO.

What is the best way to get to the Jasmine Seafood Cafe?
Located on Convoy Street, you'll want to hop on the 163 North and exit on Balboa Street. Please keep in mind, this will be a Thursday during rush hour, so you may run into some traffic. Once you arrive at Jasmine, parking is available outside the restaurant.
What kind of food will be served?
Jasmine Seafood is a Chinese seafood restaurant. Meals will be family style shared amongst your table.
Will there be gluten free or vegetarian options available?
Yes! We've worked very hard with our restaurant to provide vegetarian and gluten free options for our loved ones. There will also be a gluten free dessert!
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony, meaning no phones during the vows. We'd love for you to be present in the moment! Our photographer will capture everything, and we will share photos afterward. Our only exception will be Grandma & Grandpa on facetime!
Can I bring a plus one?
Our wedding is a very small gathering and has a limited guest list. If your invitation includes a plus one, their name will be listed. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
